Perpetual Optimist in Yuma, AZ
This week started with a bang and my optimism is in high gear, so look out the Perpetual Optimist in Yuma, AZ is on a roll! While the intent of this blog is to remind people to give this Holiday Season and tell you that there is a Toys for Tots Donation box in my office here, I want you to remember that giving isn't just about Money, it can be about time! If you have more time than money as many people say, go give some of that time away.
Two of the Reasons I have to be optimistic:
And Now an example of why being an optimist this Christmas Season and all year for that Matter is a Great thing to be!!
First Let me begin by telling you an example of how optimism rules my world! I've had this cute inexpensive property listed for a long while. We have lowered the price numerous times without much interest. It has been at an all time low for some time now (a month or so) and my client (the Mrs.) passed away, I was very sad for the husband. Then the strangest thing happened; People started showing an interest in this property like never before. I hadn't lowered the price again or anything, but I began to get a call on it at least once or twice a day. There were even two offers, granted one was a low ball offer and another just couldn't come up with the down payment, either way, THERE WERE offers! I'll jump in here and tell you that because I am a Perpetual Optimist in Yuma, AZ I have the pleasure of selling everything from Inexpensive property to Custom homes with Amazing Views! This particular piece of property while inexpensive had a Nice View of the Mountains and Unmarred Sunset Views and THE cutest 1960 mobile on it.

I know you may think I am crazy here, but it was pristine!! Beautiful real Wood Paneling, and the slatted windows that let the air through on a beautiful day (We have MANY beautiful days here in the winter.) Cute Kitchen with Miniature Cook top and separate oven in Chocolate Brown accented by a red brick back splash (real not faux)- Just Cute! I thought it was adorable and every buyer seemed to have a plan to junk it immediately until Sunday God sent me a buyer who offered an excellent price that the seller was prepared to accept and they LOVE the Cute little mobile. Now, maybe I am an Extreme Perpetual Optimist in Yuma, AZ but could it be that his home was just waiting for these buyers?? Who knows, but what ever the case is, I think that the Property and the buyers were a match made in Heaven!
Things like that are the reason that I Love, Love, Love being an optimist! In my world there is always a reason why things happen and why things don't happen. If the home you thought you were absolutely in Love with, is sold before the ink had time to dry on the offer you just wrote, don't be sad, it happened for a reason and there is a better home out there for you! Life is so full of unexpected moments of pleasure that you need not dwell on the moments of disappointment, because if you do you will miss all of the fun stuff!! My friend jokingly said "stop being so positive." I can't, I just can't I am a Perpetual Optimist in Yuma, AZ. If you want to grieve for a while and dwell on all things sad, DO NOT call ME, because I am the Perpetual Optimist in Yuma, AZ. I can't help myself, I will tell you all of the reasons why the thing you thought was so bad may really not be as bad as you think it is or at minimum I will figure out a way to make it better. Please don't call me if you want to drown in a sea of negativity, but if you are feeling a little blue and want to bask in the warm glow of Happiness then by all means call ME! If you want me to find all of the Great and Positive things about the home you are about to sell, Call ME! If you are looking to find a Great and Wonderful Home in Beautiful Yuma, Arizona where the sun shines 98% of the time, then call ME the Perpetual Optimist in Yuma, AZ! I have also decided in the spirit of Christmas that for every closing through January I will donate $100 to the local charity of my clients choice!
So This Holiday Season, go out and be positive- Give of yourself weather emotionally or monetarily! As I told a friend who was dwelling on a bad situation the other day, I know it has been said many times before, But- When Life gives ME Lemons, Baby I Make a Darn Fine Lemonade!! So This Beautiful Winter Season when the Lemon trees are Full of Lemons, I will be making a lot of Lemonade and sharing my "Lemons" with some of the Much Deserving Local Charities!!!! If you have something to give Go Out and become a Perpetual Optimist!! Share and Give someone else a reason to be optimistic!! It doesn't have to be money, it can be time just GIVE!!
A Big Thank YOU to all of my clients that enable me to be a Perpetual Optimist in Yuma, AZ!
The Perfect Realtor in Yuma AZ
The Perfect Realtor in Yuma AZ
Part of blogging and writing in general, I suppose is to be honest. Honest with ourselves and with our clients. So my Ramble of the day is- Can I be the Perfect Realtor in Yuma AZ all of the time? When I came into this business I wanted to be the best Realtor I could be. I wanted to be "The Perfect Realtor in Yuma AZ." My Parents are Realtors in Tucson, Arizona, and I have always admired the care that they have taken with all of their clients. When we moved to Yuma, Arizona we had a terrible time buying a home. My Dad finally ended up representing us as our buyers agent, because for some reason we couldn't find an agent to show us property on a weekend. Well, fast forward 10 years later and I am pleased to say that Realtors have come a long way in this town. :)
Although I suppose if they hadn't evolved so much it would be fantastic for my business and go a long way to making me The Perfect Realtor in Yuma AZ . Either way I am thankful for the agents that don't work weekends and turn their cell phones off at 5:00. Hahaha, yes, they do exist here and I'd be willing to bet at least a dollar that my hubby wishes he were married to one of them. Poor man instead he is married to ME. I desperately try to be The Perfect Realtor. I want every one of my clients to have the absolute best buying or selling experience that they can have. I am a perpetual optimist a self proclaimed Silver-lining kind of Girl and I get so irritated when I pull up a listing with 2 pictures on it or no pictures or anything less than the maximum amount of pictures on it- Until this week. This week I went from The Perfect Realtor in Yuma AZ to the worst Realtor ever with one fatal sneeze. Yep, that's how it started, a sneeze and it was downhill from there. I found myself on the freeway minutes from home thinking, Please God, don't let me pass out until I get home. I went from being 'The Perfect Realtor in Yuma AZ' that takes a minimum of 40 photos of every listing, the Realtor that takes 5 different living room angles (these are only the ones I saved), the same PERFECT REALTORin Yuma AZ that

answers her phone at all hours of the day (even midnight for clients in Hawaii) to the Realtor that didn't answer her phone calls, did return them, between naps, but barely read her emails and social networking, nope that didn't happen. So I guess I can't be perfect all of the time. I have to give in every once in a while... maybe? Dare I say maybe I need a vacation? Nope, I think I just had one and looking back over the past few days, it was kind of nice. But, back to Reality! or in this case back to Realty.;) Pun intended.
So I am an anti-bacterial queen again and I swear if it weren't for a combination of "Naked Juice, green tea and "Airborne", I don't know if I would be writing this. One if my clients asked if I had H1N1, I haven't left the house in days for fear I'd give it to one of my clients, friends or customers & now that I feel better I certainly don't have time to go see a doctor. For all of The Perfect Realtors out there, take extra precautions all of the time. No kissing your kiddos when they come home from school with a cough. Has harsh as that may seem. Wipe that sweet little nose and then go wash your hands! You are probably laughing right now, thinking what a princess, a little sniffle got her down... Ha, a princess I am not. I AM THE PERFECT REALTOR (at least I am in Yuma, AZ) I wrote a contract & emailed it from my birthing room hours before my second son was born, counter offered & accepted the next day. I am not a wimpy girl, so if the flu could kick my butt, beware! Wash your hands every chance you get!! Good luck to all of The Perfect Realtors out there! I am just Thankful that it caught me at the beginning of my busy season! I won't let it get me down again!! It is time to go back to being *The Perfect Realtor in Yuma AZ!!* Starting with excessive hand washing followed by zealous photo taking, talking, hand holding, etc, etc. I'm back World! See you all at my Open House Today!!
